Week 23 Summary

Week 23 is in the books and the end of the season is coming up quick. Boston (AL) clinched a week-and-a-half ago and St. Louis (NL) clinched this past Monday, so we are that point in the season where veterans are released or benched to allow the youngbloods to show their skills while both groups are hoping to be on an ML roster in 1950. Some teams have only three games remaining, some have six, and most are somewhere in between. There are only 35 total games left to be played, including ten games on the season-ending doubleheader Sunday. That means the days between now and then are pretty light. Given that I am so close, I am going to skip the normal summary that I have done for the previous 22 weeks and instead I am going to just jump right into Week 24 and start finishing off the final week.
